Chicago Tempest Announce Coaching Transition

The Chicago Tempest today announce a leadership transition within the organization. Head Coach Bryan Colbridge has officially stepped down from his role for personal reasons, effective immediately. We thank Coach Colbridge for his contributions to the team and to the growth of rugby in the region.

Starting now, Kristin Zdanzewicz has been appointed acting head coach of the Tempest for the duration of the season. She brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion to this position. Having represented the US in the 2006 and 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cups and with her recent involvement in the U20 and U18 pathway programs, WER is excited that Kristin was available to lead the program through this transition.

As we move forward, the Chicago Tempest remain focused on the road ahead and committed to providing a strong, supportive environment for our players, staff and fans.
